Cool Crafts Roundup
At our 2024 Cool Crafts Roundup, kids will get the opportunity to hear stories, roll up their sleeves, and be creative! Crafts and stories are inspired by the environment around the Rancho and offer a multitude of perspectives to create a meaningful and engaging experience.
Cool Crafts happens from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm on the Second Thursday of the month April to August. Free admission, no reservations are needed.

Our concerts will be held on the last Sunday of the month. Get ready for a relaxing evening on our Barns Lawn. Our shuttle service starts at 4:30 pm and the event is from 5 pm – 7 pm. The dates are

Rancho Los Alamitos proudly presents our 2024 Summer Concert Series! We are opening our grounds after hours for a relaxing summer evening. Grab lawn chairs and a picnic dinner and join us for a night with family and friends amid our lush historic grounds.
Parking for each concert is at CSULB Lot G13, and we will have a shuttle service running to and from the Rancho. There is no charge for parking and the shuttle. Both are free. There will be no onsite parking on the Rancho grounds. Gates open and shuttle service starts at 4:30 pm. Shuttle service to the Rancho from Lot 13 will end at 6:30 pm. The concert will end at 7:00 pm and the shuttles will run continuously to ensure everyone can return to their vehicle.
Our concert is held on our outdoor lawn. Feel free to bring lawn chairs, blankets to sit on, and/or a picnic dinner. Outside food and non-alcoholic beverages are allowed.
Please refrain from bringing glass bottles and alcoholic beverages. Only service animals are allowed onsite. We also ask that you leave items that would obstruct views, like sun umbrellas. The Rancho is a smoke-free site.
Save the Date! Jazz Angels Concert at Rancho Los Alamitos

What a treat! Thanks to Jazz Angels, we are able to bring you a special, additional concert this summer . On August 11, Jazz in the Afternoon will be presented by Jazz Angels. They are partnering with Rancho Los Alamitos and Rancho Los Cerritos this summer to provide two free concerts! Bring a beach chair or blanket and picnic lunch for an afternoon of great music and historical information. Watch performances by the Jazz Angel bands and explore our historic home and gardens.
Jazz Angels was founded in 2007 by professional musicians and teachers Barry Cogert, Albert Alva, and Mark Barnes. They recognized a need for a unique type of music education for young people. Together, they created an environment where young musicians could play, preserve jazz, and build self-esteem, confidence, and leadership skills.
Rancho Los Cerritos will host their concert on Saturday, August 18. Information about how to RSVP for free tickets will be available soon.
